Town lease (operator)
Operators. Exclusive commercial rights to one U.S. town's daily newsletter. The edition writes and sends itself — an operator never writes a word — and the operator takes half the net on every listing sold in their town.

- The price is a function of the town's subscriber count, not a plan chosen at checkout: $10.00/month covers the first 1,000 subscribers, then +$5.00/month per additional 1,000.
- Increases are announced by email in advance and take effect at the next billing cycle — never mid-cycle — and are cancelled automatically if the subscriber count falls back first.
- An operator takes 50% of the net on every listing sold in their town.
- Cancel any time. A served period is not refunded; see the refund policy for the exceptions.
- A lease never includes the subscriber list — operators see counts only.

Event listing
Anyone with something on. An event on a town's public calendar, and on the featured tier, inside the daily email in the run-up to the date.

- One-off prices, not subscriptions.
- Free submissions go into a review queue and publish only if a person approves them. There is no timeline on that; the paid tiers are screened immediately.
- Both paid tiers are screened before a payment link exists, so a listing that fails the screen is never charged.

Business directory listing
Local businesses. A business in a town's directory for 30 days, and on the featured tier, a weekly mention in the daily email.

The small print
- All prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT, which the merchant of record calculates and collects at checkout.
- No setup fees, no contracts, no minimum term.
- Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ) is the merchant of record for every charge: it appears on the cardholder's statement, issues the invoice, and remits sales tax and VAT. MailerDot never sees a card number.
- Live prices are on the API — /api/pricing for this catalogue, /api/territories for a specific town's lease price, and /api/listing-quote for listings in a specific town.
