Is a listing for one town, or all of them?
One town — any U.S. town on our list. It runs on that town’s page and, on the featured tier, in that town’s email. To reach two towns, buy two listings.
What’s the difference between free and premium?
Free is reviewed by a person, with no timeline, and runs below premium. Premium ($10) is decided in seconds and runs above every free listing. Featured ($25) adds the town’s email.
How long does a listing run?
An event runs until the day it happens. A business holds the top of the directory for 30 days and stays listed after. One flat charge; nothing renews.
What does “in the email” mean?
A featured event is mentioned in up to 5 editions before it happens; a featured business once a week for 30 days. Always labelled as paid.
What gets rejected?
Anything that isn’t a real local event or business, and anything outside our acceptable use policy. Screening happens before checkout, so a rejected listing is never charged.
Premium is screened against our standards before you pay; a rejected listing is never charged. Our merchant of record takes one flat charge — not a subscription — and the listing publishes when payment clears. Paid placement is labelled as paid. Paid but never published is refunded in full: see the refund policy and the terms.
