Three Medical Practices Open at Garner Field Road Today

Uvalde, TX · October 5, 2026

If you have a doctor's visit on the calendar this morning, check the address twice before backing out of the driveway. Several longtime practices are seeing their first patients at the new Garner Field Road medical center today.

The Lead

Starting this morning, patient visits for several longtime medical practices shift to a single campus. Uvalde Family Practice, Sage Family Medicine, and Uvalde Medical & Surgical Associates have officially consolidated their day-to-day operations into the new Uvalde Memorial Medical Center building at 1195 Garner Field Road. For patients with appointments scheduled today or later this week, doctors and nursing staffs remain the same, but the waiting rooms and entryways have changed. The two-story center consolidates specialized care—including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and cardiology—alongside family medicine, obstetrics, and pediatrics. Administrative staff urge patients to check their specific suite assignments before heading over, as parking and main entry points now direct through Building B. The new facility centralizes diagnostic lab work and imaging under one roof, cutting out cross-town trips between primary doctors and regional specialists.
