Trustees Map Out Park Work and Fall School Events Tonight
Sea Cliff, NY · October 5, 2026
Brisk morning air and quiet sidewalks mean the post-Mini Mart calm has settled back over the avenue. Catch your breath before the trustees convene at Village Hall tonight.
The Lead
The Board of Trustees convenes at Village Hall this evening at 6:00 PM for its monthly conference meeting, shifting attention from weekend festivities to fall infrastructure priorities. Up for immediate action is a budget modification authorizing structural repairs to the Sea Cliff Fire Department's exterior entrance steps, addressing long-standing weathering before winter sets in.
Trustees will also review ongoing improvement timelines for Central Park and receive progress updates regarding road and drainage conditions along Altamont Avenue. On the community calendar side, the board is set to formalize municipal permits for Sea Cliff School's upcoming autumn lineup, greenlighting a Carpenter Avenue evening street closure for outdoor movie night alongside route coordination for the annual children's Halloween parade. Deliberations begin promptly in the main meeting room.
