Four Blocks of Crafts and Music Returning This Sunday

Sea Cliff, NY · October 2, 2026

A soft morning mist is hanging over the harbor this Friday, but village porches and shops are already bustling with preparations for an exceptionally full weekend ahead.

The Lead

The 54th annual Sea Cliff Mini Mart takes over downtown this Sunday, transforming four blocks of Sea Cliff Avenue into an open-air marketplace from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Organized by the North Shore Kiwanis Club, the beloved tradition features more than 200 regional craft artisans, food vendors, and live musical acts spanning Prospect to Carpenter avenues.

Because the event routinely attracts thousands of visitors, village officials and organizers are urging local residents to plan around significant vehicular detours. Sea Cliff Avenue will be fully closed to through traffic for the duration of the fair. Free public parking will be centralized at Harry Tappen Beach on Shore Road, with continuous shuttle buses running every 15 minutes between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Volunteers will begin marking street spaces before sunrise Sunday, locking down the central corridor for foot traffic well before the opening bell.
