Full WaterFire Lighting Brings Riverfront Fires Tonight

Tonight brings one of the summer’s signature riverfront traditions as WaterFire returns for a full lighting along the downtown rivers. The "Clear Currents" evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with onshore music, food vendors, and cultural arts programming stretching across Waterplace Park and the Riverwalk. At sunset, around 8:03 PM, volunteers will ignite more than eighty floating braziers, filling the waterways with woodsmoke, flickering light, and ambient music until midnight. Highlights tonight include a capoeira graduation performance at Memorial Park led by local martial arts master Mestre Tigri.
