For over three decades, local growth adhered to a regional plan shared across Houston County. Now, as the municipality experiences unprecedented residential and commercial expansion, city leaders are drafting Perry's first standalone twenty-year Comprehensive Plan.

The blueprint, titled Planning Perry Together, will establish legally binding frameworks for future zoning, neighborhood density, trail connections, and downtown revitalization through 2045.
