Tents and easel displays are already lining the lakefront walkways this morning. Grab a cold brew before the art crowds filter in.

The Lead

Dozens of regional and national artists have set up along the waterfront promenade this morning for the second annual Downtown Palm Beach Gardens Art Festival. Running today and Sunday, the outdoor showcase transforms the pedestrian boulevard into an open-air gallery featuring life-sized sculptures, original oil paintings, hand-blown glass, and custom jewelry. Organized by veteran promoter Howard Alan Events, the free gathering gives residents an unhurried chance to meet the creators behind the work, with artists on hand throughout both days to discuss techniques and commissions. The event also offers nearby patio dining and pedestrian strolling along Lake Victoria Gardens Avenue without regular car traffic. Admission remains free for all ages, with artist booths open until 8:00 PM tonight before resuming tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM.

Spotlight & Story

  • Palm Beach City
