Resident Photo Contest Opens Submissions Across Four Categories

The Lead

The annual Resident Photography Contest is officially open for submissions, inviting community members to capture the local spirit through their lenses. This year’s competition features four distinct categories: iGardens for mobile photography, Beauty Abounds for landscape and nature shots, Digital Manipulation for creative editing, and People & PBG for candid local moments.

Whether taken during a morning stroll through native pine flatwoods or at a weekend neighborhood gathering, submitted photographs will be evaluated by an independent judging panel. Winning entries will be displayed inside City Hall during a public gallery reception on October 19. Photographers of all experience levels can submit up to three entries through the city’s online portal through the end of summer.
