Inside 100 Artist Lofts at the Brewery Complex This Weekend
Los Angeles, CA · November 6, 2026
Chinatown's neon lights are warming up for tonight's First Friday block party, and the unseasonable November sunshine shows no sign of backing down. Grab an iced coffee and let's map out the weekend.
The Lead
The 16-acre former Pabst Blue Ribbon brewery in Lincoln Heights opens its iron gates this weekend for the biannual Fall Brewery Artwalk, bringing one of the country’s largest working artist enclaves into public view. For four decades, the complex has offered curious Angelenos an unvarnished look inside the live-work lofts of sculptors, painters, and multimedia fabricators across dozens of industrial buildings.
This autumn edition introduces a historic shift: adult admission now costs $5 for the entire weekend to help the artist association cover rising security and production expenses. Entry remains free for visitors 17 and under, as well as immediate neighbors carrying proof of residency in the 90031, 90033, and 90023 ZIP codes. Studios welcome visitors from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, with open doors concentrated along North Main Street.
