Collegiate golfers from across Florida and Georgia take the tee early today as Black Diamond Ranch hosts the second annual Battle at Black Diamond. Hosted by New College of Florida, the multi-day tournament brings together men's and women's squads from institutions like Lake-Sumter State College, the College of Coastal Georgia, and Eastern Florida State to tackle 54 holes across the club's nationally celebrated Quarry Course.

The course's signature limestone canyon holes, carved decades ago from abandoned mining pits, provide one of the most demanding layouts in collegiate competition.
