The project eliminates direct cross-highway maneuvers by installing a raised median and channeling side-street traffic into dedicated right turns. Drivers turning from Angleberger Road will head north and use a new J-turn crossover 3,000 feet up the road, complete with deceleration and acceleration lanes designed to sharply curb right-angle collisions.
