Free Outdoor Festival Kicks Off Downtown Tonight

Fishers, IN · August 6, 2026

Music and local vendors are taking over the plaza outside the event center before sunset today.

The Lead

A three-night concert run opens tonight at the Fishers Event Center, bringing a free community celebration to FORUM Credit Union Plaza. City organizers and Hamilton County Tourism partnered with venue leadership to host "Shakedown Street," a daily pre-show festival running from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM through Saturday. The outdoor setup features more than 40 local artisans, food trucks, a beer garden, and fan gathering spaces on the plaza grounds. Official tour merchandise will also be available early inside the main entrance starting at 4:30 PM. No concert ticket is required to enter the outdoor festival or merchandise areas, offering residents an easy way to experience the energy surrounding one of the summer’s largest entertainment weekends.
