Free Plaza Festival Announced for Event Center Concert Series
Fishers, IN · August 4, 2026
Morning tools are out along 126th Street for pavement repairs today, but warm summer sun should keep traffic moving smoothly. Plenty on the schedule before sunset.
The Lead
Even with all three nights of the upcoming Billy Strings concert run at the Fishers Event Center completely sold out, non-ticketed music fans will not be left out of the celebration. City officials and venue partners announced a multi-day, free plaza festival taking over the outdoor FORUM Credit Union Plaza starting Thursday.
The community event will transform the plaza into a bustling gathering spot featuring more than 40 artisan and craft vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, fan meetups, and pop-up activities. Early official tour merchandise sales will also open daily on-site from 4:30 to 6:00 PM without requiring a ticket to the main arena show.
Organizers and local vendors will begin physical setup on the plaza Wednesday afternoon ahead of Thursday's opening gates.

Spotlight & Story
- Eller Road
- Thousands of commuters travel Eller Road daily, but its name traces back to the 1820s when the Eller family established one of Delaware Township's first homesteads. Their farm sat near the White River long before Salathiel Fisher platted the nearby railway stop.
