Heading into early August, major road projects are shifting into high gear across local corridors today. The intersection at 96th Street and Cyntheanne Road is fully closed as construction crews break ground on a new multi-lane roundabout designed to improve long-term safety and traffic flow. Simultaneously, 136th Street has closed to through traffic between Southeastern Parkway and Prairie Baptist Road for regional drainage and utility installation. Drivers along Allisonville Road near 116th Street will also encounter inside lane restrictions through early October.
