Live Demos and 100 Crafters Headline Northampton Day Today

Feasterville Trevose, PA · October 4, 2026

Catching the morning kettle steam before heading out to the festival grounds is about as quiet as this Sunday gets. You have farmstands, live rescue demos, and crisp autumn air waiting once you step outside.

The Lead

Autumn festival season hits full stride today just north of our border, as the 28th Annual Northampton Day Festival takes over the grounds of the former Richboro Middle School along Upper Holland Road from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The long-running tradition draws families from across Lower Southampton and neighboring communities for an afternoon highlighting regional talent, small businesses, and civic organizations. More than 100 artisan vendors and crafters will set up alongside local food trucks, live musical performances, and free children's activities including inflatables and face painting. First responders plan to take center stage with live demonstrations, featuring tactical maneuvers by police K-9 teams and vehicle extrication exercises by area fire companies. Proceeds from vendor registrations and raffles directly fund local volunteer groups and student scholarships. Gates open at 10:00 AM with free parking and admission on-site.

Spotlight & Story

  • The 1683 Treaty Monument Just south of Playwicki Park stands a solitary stone monument erected in the 1930s to mark William Penn’s June 23, 1683 land deed with the Lenni Lenape. Thieves pried off the bronze plaque decades ago, leaving a blank stone sentinel along the tree line.
