Dolphin Park Officially Becomes Veterans Park This Morning

Lower Southampton Township is formally dedicating Lower Southampton Veterans Park this morning at 10:00 AM, completing the transition of the former Dolphin Municipal Park on West Bristol Road into a permanent memorial space. The redesignation, spearheaded in partnership with the township Veterans Advisory Council, honors local service members with a newly installed flagpole and ceremonial grounds.
The property at 260 W. Bristol Road has long served neighborhood families with open athletic fields and recreation space, but township officials and local veterans pushed to give the grounds greater civic purpose. This morning's gathering features a formal flag-raising ceremony, remarks from municipal leaders, and the official unveiling of the new park signage.
