Supermarket Makeover Underway on Street Road
Feasterville Trevose, PA · September 3, 2026
Morning traffic along Street Road is humming at its usual pace today, but your grocery run is in for a change of scenery. A full interior revamp is officially getting underway.
The Lead
Feasterville’s primary grocery hub is getting an overhaul. The Giant Company has begun work on a sweeping interior remodel of its supermarket at 176 West Street Road, aiming to update fresh departments and rework aisle layouts. The store, which opened in 2018 and employs 159 team members, will remain fully operational during construction, maintaining its normal 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily schedule alongside curbside pickup services.
Shoppers will see phased updates roll through produce, bakery, meat, seafood, and dairy sections, paired with an expanded grab-and-go deli counter designed for quick meal pickups. Store manager Kevin Bane confirmed crews are staging work in sections to keep disruptions minimal. Township shoppers can expect the refreshed layout to wrap by early next year.

Spotlight & Story
- The Annual Firehouse Santa Run
- Every December, volunteer firefighters strap Santa Claus atop Ladder 1 to cruise every residential street with sirens roaring. The ritual began decades ago with simple fire prevention motorcades, and volunteers still toss candy canes directly to curbside children from the cab steps.
