Lower Southampton Township has officially broken ground on the Brownsville Road Pedestrian Improvement Project near Avenue C. Designed to make one of the area's main corridors safer for walkers, the infrastructure upgrades include a new designated crosswalk equipped with pedestal-mounted Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons, fresh ADA-compliant curb ramps, and newly paved sidewalk sections.
