Built in partnership with Fort Worth police officer Jorge Lopez, the program generates responsive virtual characters that display varying levels of compliance, sensory distress, and distinct communication styles. Because the software eliminates the logistical hurdles of hiring live actors, officers can repeatedly rehearse subtle conversational adjustments and patience-tested tactics in a controlled setting. Following successful initial trials with regional recruits, the engineering team is preparing to expand the simulation scenarios to additional North Texas departments.
