80 Local Artists Set Up Across Two Center Venues Tomorrow
Arlington, MA · November 6, 2026
Keep an umbrella tucked into your bag this morning — steady rain settles across town today, but an evening of live music at the Regent will keep things dry.
The Lead
The 28th annual Arlington Open Studios returns Saturday, turning Arlington Center into a sprawling showcase for more than 80 local painters, sculptors, jewelers, and ceramicists. Organized by the Arlington Center for the Arts, the event spans two central hubs: Arlington Town Hall, where two floors of artists will be flanked by live brass and jazz on the front steps, and the Arlington Community Center on Maple Street, which hosts hands-on pottery demonstrations, puppet performances, and open studios. A satellite reading at Robbins Library will feature live work from the Red Letter Poems Project throughout the day. It is the town’s largest curated visual-arts market of the season, offering a direct look into neighborhood studios before the winter rush. Admission is free, and doors open at 11:00 AM.
